Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are currently seeking Forklift Truck Drivers to join a successful and well-established logistics and distribution company based in the Newark area. As a Forklift Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in the smooth and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, always ensuring safety and accuracy. What will I be paid?
Pay rates starting from £12.24 to £13.38 per hour (Rate dependent on shift pattern and experience).
What will I be doing as a Forklift Truck Driver?
- Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks to move goods around the site
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Stacking and storing products in the correct areas
- Conducting regular checks on equipment and reporting any issues
- Supporting the wider warehouse team as required
- Following all health & safety procedures
What skills and experience do I need?
- Valid Forklift Truck licence Counterbalance and/or Reach (in-house or accredited accepted)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Good level of attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be able to commute reliably to the Newark area
Working hours:
Monday to Friday - Various shifts available: 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, 22:00 - 06:00.
