Electronics Supply Chain Buyer in Poole, Dorset. £30,000 guideline negotiable + pension. Permanent position. Daytime Monday to Friday with an earlier finish on Fridays.

This role involves working as a Supply Chain Coordinator electronics buyer in the engineering supply chain team for an electrical, electronics and mechatronics manufacturing and engineering business. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct materials and components are sourced correctly in the supply chain and that suppliers deliver on time.

  • Communicating with colleagues in engineering, reading technical specifications, engineering drawings and electrical schematics to ensure the correct components are ordered.
  • Communicating with suppliers to ensure the correct components are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Working on low volume projects, providing variety in the job.
  • Being part of a team working on different products, supporting well-planned projects which are clearly defined and well managed.
