Exciting times lie ahead for our global client as they plan their expansion with a new manufacturing site. This is also a new HR Advisor role which would suit a HR generalist who would be assigned to support a HRBP within their own business area. If you enjoy working within a supportive HR team where you will immerse yourself in the business and make a genuine contribution to this growing organisation, then this is the HR role for you.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be:
- First point of contact for managers and employees queries in your designated areas
- Support the in-house recruiter with recruitment admin for your business area compiling offers and contracts
- Attend interviews when required
- Data input of starters, leavers, changes, overtime
- Advise and support management on employee relations, performance, capability, absence management, conduct and restructures
- Guide and support on disciplinaries and grievances, attend hearings to ensure appropriate procedures are followed
- Support Managers on sickness absence
- Advise on capability, performance and ill health
- Review and update policies in line with changes to employment legislation
- As super user of HR systems (Workday) and the T&A system, provide technical support and continuous improvement
- Maintain HR data reporting and provide HR metrics and analytics
- Provide general HR admin support
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- CIPD qualification/working towards qualification
- HR generalist experience
- Good knowledge of current employment legislation
- Understanding of manufacturing environment
- Thrives on continuous improvement

- Strong communication skills
- Skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
