What you'll do:

  • Provide outstanding care and safeguarding to young people aged 11-17 with complex needs (EBD, trauma, behavioural challenges)
  • Lead shifts and support junior staff with daily routines, key working, and safeguarding practices
  • Actively support the emotional, social, educational and therapeutic needs of each young person
  • Work in close partnership with management, social workers, schools, and external agencies
  • Help maintain the home's high standards, record-keeping and compliance
  • Be flexible and committed, working a variety of shifts and residential trips

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in children's residential care
  • Previous team-leading or shift-leading experience
  • Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Must be able to drive manual vehicles
  • Committed to full-time work, including sleep-ins
  • Strong safeguarding awareness & a team-player mindset
  • Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people to thrive
