This firm has consistently demonstrated its success in developing and retaining talented lawyers, and are now seeking to add to their Projects team, with a focus on supporting clients in the energy sector.
About the role
Joining an established and admired sector specialist team of projects lawyers, you will have direct involvement in bringing innovative and nationally significant projects to fruition. You can expect your work to be of a high quality with a national impact. In response to consistently increasing client needs, the team are seeking to recruit in the speciality renewable energy team, where there is an extensive pipeline of work. You will be working to extend and develop your skills, knowledge and confidence with clients alongside market-leading experts, providing regulatory and commercial legal advice on a variety of complex and engaging projects. Due to the firm’s reputation and status, you will have the opportunity to be part of tenders for some of the most innovative and important projects nationwide. The team is Tier 1 ranked and known for being one of the largest Projects Departments outside of London, with specialists singled out as 'leaders in their fields'. The Partners have a wealth of experience to impart and are very approachable and collaborative.
About you
With some projects focussed experience as a fee earner within a quality UK law firm environment, you’ll have already gained relevant, practical experience providing regulatory and commercial legal advice on large-scale renewable energy projects. You consider yourself to be a resilient and collegiate lawyer who enjoys delivering exceptional client service and encourage your colleagues to do the same. You have developed a passion for working with clients to provide appropriate, insightful and commercially relevant advice to meet with their specific needs and interests. You focus on keeping up to date with the latest economic and legal developments affecting the Energy sector, and work proactively to consider potential impact on your clients.
- You will also need to be:
- A strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Able to demonstrate experience and/or interest within the renewable energy sector
- An SRA registered lawyer with current license to practice in England & Wales
