Steward/Stewardess and Partner Wrenthorpe Sports and Social Club Wrenthorpe Road WF2 0LP Located on the outskirts of Wakefield we are a well established social club who are seeking a friendly, professional, well presented and experienced steward /stewardess and partner to join our team. The position will have overall responsibility for the running of the bar and duties will include but not limited to; Stock Management Bar and Cellar work including hand pulled ales Cash handling Staff Management Basic food preparation Hosting and conducting quiz nights Our Hours of opening are; Mon Thurs 4.00pm 11.00pm Friday 4.00pm 11.30pm Sat 3.00pm 11.30pm Sun 12.00pm 11.00pm The working week will be 5 days, some of which will include hours outside of the normal opening times to cover tasks such as ordering, deliveries, line cleaning, cash handling and banking weekly cash. The hours and shift plans are negotiable and flexible to suit both the club needs and the successful candidate. Pay Steward/ Stewardess circa £30,000 Partner hourly rate circa £13-£14 per hour Additional Benefits : Provision of well-proportioned 2 bedroom flat attached to the club. All utilities are included. The club itself is well equipped and has multiple rooms including; the main bar, sports bar with pool/snooker tables, wine bar, children/family room and extensive beer garden with an outside bar. The club has 3000 members and hosts pool/snooker teams in local leagues. Further information can be requested on application.
