A Trainee Commercial Gas Engineer is required for a well-established building services provider based in South West London who has been in operation since 1985 holding long-standing contracts with private managing agencies of commercial buildings. The company is seeking a skilled Domestic engineer who is looking to upskill to Commercial Gas.

The Trainee Commercial Gas Engineer will assist with carrying out a variety of tasks, primarily focused on the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating systems and plant rooms. Work will be carried out across a mix of commercial properties and communal residential buildings (such as plant rooms within apartment complexes and flats).

Salary & Benefits
  • Basic Salary £40,000 - £46,000 depending on experience
  • Company van with limited personal use
  • Extensive overtime paid 1.5 & 2x
  • Working hours 8am - 4:30pm on site, plus 1-hour additional pay per day, for travel

  • Call out rota 1 in 6 weeks plus stand by and overtime

Trainee Commercial Gas Engineer required to work across London as a mobile engineer, with a focus on upskilling towards commercial work.

  • Learn to diagnose faults and support remedial works, with training provided to ensure safe, efficient operation and compliance with relevant standards

  • Domestic Gas Qualifications, including CCN1
  • Experience in either service and repair, or installation of domestic appliances and plant rooms
  • 3-5 years' experience working on domestic gas boilers / heating systems
  • Hold knowledge of commercial gas appliances
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Based within a commutable distance of South West London
