We Are Footprint are recruiting for one of our key clients, a prestigious Tier 1 contractor, who are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their team for an exciting project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a long-term freelance basis, where you will be responsible for overseeing and checking subcontractors' work across various sites in West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure the quality of subcontractors' work on-site.
- Conduct thorough inspections and reviews of civil engineering work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to subcontractors where required.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues to senior management.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure that all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on site-based work.
- Proven experience in supervising and checking subcontractors' work.
