Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive primary school situated in South Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to our Year 3 children, ensuring they make excellent progress and develop a love for learning. You will be expected to plan and deliver creative lessons, assess student progress, and work collaboratively with the school team as a whole. The job is due to start in September 2025 with the potential of an earlier start to provide a supportive handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with upper KS1 or lower KS2 pupils.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
  • Two school-based references from most recent roles/placements.
  • A current, clear Enhanced DBS (or the willingness to apply for one).
