We are delighted to announce new and improved terms and conditions for all First Officers joining European Cargo, a leading UK cargo operator with a growing fleet, seeking qualified individuals to join their team.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required. European Cargo will contribute £2,000 towards training costs for any candidates whose LPC on an Airbus type may have lapsed, as a valid type rating is required for the CCQ. As well as the above mentioned contribution, the new terms include increased salary as well as improved pension. European Cargo are offering a CCQ for any qualified Airbus first officers.
As an A340 First Officer, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of their fleet of long-haul freighter aircraft. You will work closely with the Captain to ensure the successful completion of each flight, from pre-flight planning to landing and post-flight procedures.
European Cargo is a UK based cargo operator with a fleet of A340 600’s. With its unique fleet of Airbus A340 long-haul freighter aircraft offering professional and competitive logistical solutions, European Cargo has helped to establish Bournemouth International Airport (BOH) as a reliable, cost-effective, and strategic air freight hub.

Role Requirements:
- Right to live and work in the UK
- UK CAA ATPL or ATPL (f)
- 750 hours on Airbus aircraft
- Minimum 12 months flight recency
- ELP Level 4 or higher
- Valid A340 Type Rating (A320/A330/A350/A380 acceptable) - valid by OCC start date
