As our Workplace Manager you will manage the Workplace function and in-house services of GWI to create an environment that fosters individual well-being, personal productivity, and enhances company culture. Your role will ensure compliance and safety while delivering a seamless and engaging workplace experience. You will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards across the London office, working closely with the Workplace Director, vendors, and internal stakeholders to provide a workspace that employees and visitors value. Additionally, you will oversee all workplace experience (WX) communications, service levels, and projects to continuously improve and innovate within the office environment.

What do I need to bring with me?
You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don’t have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn. Here’s what the team will be looking for:
- IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) and/or NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or experience equivalent
- Fire Marshal and First Aider certifications
- Experience in outsourcing FM (Facilities Management) teams and in-house reception service
- DSE (Display Screen Equipment) compliance and platform management experience
Responsibilities:
- Operational: Responsible for onsite hard and soft service functions, including but not limited to Risk Assessment, Reception, F&B, Hospitality, Suppliers, and Customer Care.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with all legal and statutory requirements, including Health & Safety, COSHH, sustainability legislation, and related regulations.
- Employee & Visitor Experience: Manage the delivery of exceptional employee experience programs, including new joiner inductions, WX technology rollouts, surveys, and community programs with the support of your Workplace Coordinator.
- Supplier & Service Management: Responsible for supply chain evaluation and ongoing management of service levels, including adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- ESG & Data Reporting: Responsible for Workplace and ESG data gathering and presenting monthly business reviews with relevant office data to gain full insight.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Update, and review all London office SOPs to maintain high operational standards.
- Budget Oversight: Act as the budget holder for the London office, preparing annual budget proposals and managing expenditures effectively.
