To provide support to young people with High Needs by removing barriers to learning in order to promote effective participation. To facilitate the delivery of education programmes to small groups and individuals. To ensure that learners are kept safe at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to delivering and developing services to children, young people, families and carers.
- Contributing to the identification of the support needs of young people with High Needs.
- Being a key worker for learners as directed by appropriate managers.
- Providing personal care, first aid and medication as appropriate.
- Ensuring all safeguarding and health and safety processes and protocols are in place, adhering to LLS and policies and OFSTED requirements.
- Develop and maintain appropriate mentoring relationships with young people and those engaged with them.
Hours & Pay
Monday - Friday 08:30- 16:30 £12.60
