We are seeking to engage with a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to support group-wide reporting, insights and planning, helping drive informed decision-making at senior levels. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant or experienced analyst with strong modelling and reporting skills to step into a group-level role with visibility across a Group of Engineering business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide key weekly and monthly reporting including revenue, forecasts and KPIs for senior management.
- Maintain and develop the Groups financial consolidation model, including monthly actuals and forecasts.
- Support the annual planning process with consolidated reporting and analysis.
- Prepare monthly results with commentary on key variances against plan and prior forecast.
- Partner with business units to identify opportunities for improvement and support data-driven decisions.
- Deliver meaningful financial insights to internal stakeholders to support commercial strategy.
- Develop, maintain and report on new and existing KPIs, investigating variances as needed.
- Contribute to new business case development using ROIC, IRR, and other financial metrics.
- Take ownership of performance and capital expenditure reviews and liaise with budget owners to challenge results where necessary.
- Support ad hoc finance projects, year-end audit activities and continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experienced in a FP&A, Finance Analyst or Management Accounting type positions.
- Fully/ Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, comfortable with complex modelling and large datasets.
- Familiarity with Dynamics, Navision or Power BI would be an advantage.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with a proactive, detail-focused mindset.
- Ability to communicate financial insight clearly across multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
- Curious, self-sufficient and solutions-focused, with excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
