I'm working with a leading, multidisciplinary consultancy that's looking for a Project Development Planning (Environmental) Consultant to join their team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, or a related field, who enjoys working on diverse and impactful projects.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be involved in a variety of planning and infrastructure projects while collaborating closely with the London team.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing and simplifying technical and non-technical reports for clients
  • Preparing Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs), Sustainability Statements, Waste Management Plans, and more
  • Conducting research and sourcing data for environmental assessments
  • Coordinating internal resources and managing sub-consultant teams for project delivery
  • Developing skills in project management, budgeting, and financial oversight
  • Contributing to business development and bid preparation efforts
  • Working within quality management systems
  • Mentoring junior team members while working towards professional chartership
