Tremendous opportunity to join Lancer Scott Facilities Management and work alongside one of our key partners. This is a newly created role, created to support an existing team due to increasing workload.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To provide a high quality, commercially focussed quantity surveying function to the delivery team.
  • Provide accurate measurement of works.
  • Estimating, paying particular attention to time allocation and materials.
  • Accurate valuation of works and variations.
  • Detailed cost analysis.
  • Management of the commercial rates, ensuring that colleagues and contractors use the relevant rates and agreed evaluation methods.
  • Analysis and financial management of all contracts.

You’ll need to have [essential]:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of schedule of rates, work valuation methods and principles.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • An ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to team success.

You’ll ideally have [desirable]:

  • Experience in a similar role with an understanding of Housing Associations.
