Technical are currently recruiting for a number of skilled Boatbuilders / Joiners / Carpenters to work on first and second fix on new build luxury yachts.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of 1st & 2nd Fix
- Able to understand and work from technical drawings
- Confident in installing and assembling bespoke units
- Final fitting of hardware, windows, sinks and other parts of the yacht
- Scribe in units, trim & adjust
- Work closely together with other trades
- Help lay teak decking
- Competency to work with tight tolerances
- Seeks to pursue perfection, with a coachable and engaged attitude
There is the opportunity to work 50+ hours a week as a contractor in the role, long term contract.
Ideal candidates will have to supply their own tools for this role. NVQ level 2 / 3 in Boatbuilding / Carpentry / Joinery or apprentice trained. Must have worked within the marine industry.
