Working with our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Toolmaker to join their team.
Benefits:
- 33 days annual leave, including a shutdown at Christmas

Remit:
As a Toolmaker you will be responsible for the repair and service of injection moulding machine tools and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be time served and MUST HAVE experience in repairing and maintaining injection mould tools.
Responsibilities:
- Build, repair and maintain tooling
- Work to fine tolerances
- Prove tooling and troubleshoot until running acceptably - target to enable the tools to run "right first-time" in a production environment
- Liaise with operational staff to understand tooling related issues
- Maintenance of machinery on site
- General tool making tasks
- To be flexible in a breakdown scenario
- To work in a safe manner and ensure that others also work in a safe manner
- To comply with all company rules, regulations and procedures at all times and promote good working practices throughout the workforce
- To carry out all reasonable requests from the management and supervision team
Requirements:
- Time served toolmaker
- Electrical experience is an advantage but not a necessity
- Experienced in the operation of toolmaking equipment, eg grinders, lathes, machining
- Able to understand technical drawings
- CNC Machining centre experience an advantage
- A base understanding on pneumatics and hydraulics
- Computer literate
