About the role:

As the successful CNC Milling Operator you will be an integral part of their operation, primarily working with the Horizontal Milling Machines utilising Fanuc and Haas control systems. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor and Head of Machining, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and precision of their products. In this role you will work 37 hours per week Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm, and Friday 8:30am - 4pm.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Work from detailed technical drawings and specifications while adhering to tight tolerances.
  • Programme, set, and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical milling machines with expertise.
  • Edit and prove programmes using your relevant programming knowledge and experience, particularly in Fanuc and Haas control systems.
  • Machining exotic materials such as Duplex, Super Duplex, Aluminium Bronze, Inconel, Monel, Titanium, and Stellite is ideal.
  • Focus on small batches and one-off pieces, ensuring a high-quality finish every time.
