Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Mechanical Fitters for our client based in the Telford area. You will be working 40 hours per week with an early finish (12:45) on Friday!
As part of this role, you will be responsible for:
- Testing, fault-finding and diagnostics of equipment
- Installation of systems and equipment both on site and at customer premises
- Assembly of mechanical products and systems
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Working as a team and individually when required
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a full driving license
- Have hands-on experience of mechanical equipment
- Be comfortable fault-finding and completing diagnostics
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Be comfortable using various hand and power tools daily
- Have sound processes of various mechanical processes
- Any experience with Mobile elevating work platforms would be advantageous
You must have your own basic tool set (spanners, socket set etc) and this will be supplemented by a tooling allowance scheme. You will be self-motivated, willing to accept responsibility and work progressively to achieve team goals.
You can expect to earn £29,000 - £32,000 per annum. To achieve the higher salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate a high level of relevant experience and provide copies of apprenticeship qualifications where relevant.
