We are recruiting a dynamic and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher for our partner secondary schools across Greater Manchester. Whether you specialise in French, Spanish, or German, or a combination, we would love to hear from you!
The Role:
- Teach French, Spanish, or German to students across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan engaging lessons that promote cultural awareness and language fluency
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Create a supportive classroom environment where students feel confident using a new language
- Work collaboratively with the MFL department to enrich the curriculum
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in French, Spanish, or German (dual-language specialism desirable)
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A passion for languages and international culture
Desirable:
- Experience preparing students for GCSE and/or A-Level exams
- Creativity in delivering language content (games, music, drama, etc.)
- Willingness to get involved in extracurricular activities and trips
