Talent Junction is delighted to partner exclusively with our fast-growing client in Reading, who are expanding their Finance team with the addition of a dynamic and experienced Payroll Manager. This is your chance to join a thriving organisation where you'll take ownership of processing two monthly payrolls for approximately 300 employees, playing a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute the organisation's monthly payroll cycle.
- Prepare accurate payment schedules for payroll providers to ensure timely employee net pay processing.
- Monitor and report monthly payroll changes to the Group Finance Director.
- Oversee company benefits programmes and coordinate with external providers.
- Produce payroll reports and provide regular updates.
- Administer payroll systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage year-end payroll processes, including issuing P60s and P11Ds.
- Respond promptly to employee payroll-related inquiries.
- Assist management with ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Maintain robust internal controls to ensure payroll accuracy and security.
Experience:
- Experience working in a standalone Payroll position previously will be highly desirable.
- A good understanding of multiple payroll systems will also be an advantage.
