We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to determine production and purchasing requirements while ensuring supplier lead times and key elements are accurate. The goal is to maintain material availability to meet business needs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update demand plans with stock levels, latest forecasts, and suggested purchases.
- Create and manage stock purchase orders in the ERP system.
- Conduct weekly meetings with internal and external suppliers to track expected ship dates and quantities.
- Identify and escalate potential delays or stock shortages, assisting the Demand Manager in stock allocations.
- Provide updates to the Customer Service and Inventory teams regarding potential short-dated stock.
- Handle administrative tasks, including processing non-stock purchase orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent).
- Fluent or native-level English proficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Highly organised with a proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a Purchasing or Supply Chain role, particularly in FMCG or Pharma as a Demand Planner.
