We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support the commissioning of a hydrogen generation project in Methil, Fife. This is a 6-month contract role working on high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient commissioning of critical power infrastructure.

What You Will Need:

  • Proven experience in electrical commissioning within energy, process, nuclear, oil & gas, or power generation industries.
  • Expertise in HV (11kV) & LV (400V) systems, including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and variable speed drives.
  • Strong knowledge of HV switching, Electrical Safety Rules, and isolations, with Senior Authorised Person (SAP) certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, and technical standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Factory & Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), fault-finding, and commissioning documentation.
