Are you passionate about cybersecurity and looking for an opportunity to work on critical national security projects? We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a key client of ours in Farnborough. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile defence projects, ensuring the security and resilience of mission-critical systems.
Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must be a Sole British, and ideally with an active MOD DV Clearance to be eligible.
In this role, you will be responsible for the support of the development and transition of a new programme and lead the implementation/security assurance. You will be required to develop high- and low-level architecture designs for systems intended for secure environments whilst ensuring the solution security design meets the customer functional and non-functional requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- CISSP certification (or equivalent).
- Strong experience in cybersecurity architecture within MOD/government environments.
- Expertise in cyber risk management, security frameworks, and accreditation.
- Familiarity with firewalls, authentication protocols (SAML, PKI, LDAP), SIEM systems.
- Ability to develop security assurance documentation (e.g., SyOPS, ISMS, Security Management Plans).
- Understanding of MOD ISN 23/09 Secure by Design principles.
- Experience with cloud security models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and virtualization.
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, or SAFe environments.
