As an Equifax Analyst you will play an important role in the newly created Data Expansion Team within Data and Analytics (D&A). You will be part of a new and exciting team focused on analytically proving the value of new data assets, reviewing and understanding new data sources that the Product team is asking for, or that D&A can recommend to Product based on analytical exercises undertaken. You will support analytical projects utilizing all Equifax data, looking at how it interacts and supports the CRA and other businesses. You will engage with internal stakeholders supporting innovation and product evolution to help drive revenue deliverables for Equifax UK.

What you’ll do:
  • Support Data Expansion priorities and projects focused on Data Innovation, Big Bet Support, and Credit Lifecycle stage support.
  • Run analytical data exercises using internal and external data sources to identify new data assets that will provide value to Equifax and drive new revenue opportunities.
  • Utilize combined knowledge of data structures, analytics, algorithms/models, and strong computer science fundamentals to prepare datasets, conduct analytics, and develop deployable solutions with guidance from more senior resources.
  • Leverage knowledge of data structures and algorithms to analyze and prepare data for analysis, assembling data from standard data sources.
  • Package, summarize, and visualize analytical findings and results for management.
  • Work on less complex tasks in problems often within specific business or analytical domains, listening in and collaborating with other teams to develop solutions.
What experience you need:
  • Relevant numerical degree with a 2:1 or above.
  • Experience in programming languages, SAS, SQL, and Python in either the commercial arena or at university.
  • Cloud certification strongly preferred.
  • An innovative mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members.
