Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Fitters for our client based in the Telford area. You will be working as part of a team with a common goal to build mechanical systems from engineering drawings using various manufacturing processes.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assembly of mechanical products and systems
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Working to a high quality level and completing various quality inspections throughout the process

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have hands-on experience of mechanical equipment
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Complete mechanical visual inspections
  • Be comfortable using various hand and power tools daily
  • Have sound processes of various mechanical processes

You must have your own basic tool set (spanners, socket set etc) and this will be supplemented by a tooling allowance scheme. You will be self-motivated, willing to accept responsibility and work progressively to achieve team goals.

37.5 hour working week, £26,000 - £29,000. In order to achieve the higher salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate similar experience in a manufacturing environment. These are permanent roles with an immediate start available.
