What you will do:
As the Live In Porter, you will play a central role in the upkeep, security, and daily operations of the building. You'll be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors, helping to ensure the block is safe and welcoming. Some key duties include:
- Conduct daily checks and general upkeep of communal areas (lifts, corridors, stairwells, gardens, car park)
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks and report major issues promptly
- Oversee contractors and supervise part-time cleaner to ensure high standards
- Manage rubbish and recycling collections, including solo Saturday duties
- Greet residents, visitors, and contractors; provide front desk support
- Handle deliveries, manage parcel storage/distribution, and assist residents when needed
