The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, experienced sales trainer with a consultative approach, capable of engaging with C-Suite executives and franchisees alike. They should be data-driven, well-connected, and able to adapt their training style to suit the unique needs of a franchise organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential
- Extensive experience in sales training and creating creative learning experiences, particularly in consultative sales
- Proven field experience covering the entire sales cycle (marketing, cold-calling, face-to-face meetings, closing & contract signing, etc.)
- Experience working at all levels from front-line staff to C-Suite level decision makers
- Client, account management and referral generation experience
- Data-driven approach to assessing and addressing training needs
- 2-3 years’ experience in coaching, leading, mentoring, or training sales teams (if not a seasoned sales trainer)
- Experience of preparing & delivering training using various media (face-to-face, webinars, podcasts, self-directed online learning environments, etc.)
- Background in employee/staff training development is a plus
- Strong network of industry connections and third-party resources related to training

- Fluency in English is required
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
- Excellent Networking abilities (socials, events, business introductions, referrals)
- Proficient in CRM use and sales activity tracking
- Proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Degree or qualification in psychology or related field
- Training/teaching qualifications
- Certifications in DISC/psychometrics are advantageous
- Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, or Italian
- Experience with LMS and e-learning course and resource creation
- Course and learning pathway creation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct skills gap and training needs analyses for franchisees and associates
- Design and deliver tailored sales, acquisition, and account management training programs
- Support in the development and implementation of induction training, development courses, leadership training, and mentor training
- Provide coaching to boost sales and new client acquisition numbers
- Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders and C-Suite executives
- Deliver engaging presentations/workshops at large-scale events
- Assist with e-learning and LMS development
- Contribute to leadership content creation and training
Work Environment and Requirements
- Office-based in Kings Hill, West Malling, with occasional remote work opportunities
- Potential travel within the UK and occasionally abroad
- Delivery and support of training workshops and assist with events outside the UK
