About the Role:

As a Geography Teacher at The Education Network, you will have the opportunity to inspire students at key stages KS3 and KS4 and make a real impact on their learning experience. You will work closely with colleagues to create a stimulating, student-centered learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Geography lessons that foster curiosity and a deep understanding of the subject.
- Teach students across key stages 3 and 4 and ensure that lessons are accessible and challenging.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them reach their potential.
- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum, ensuring it is current, diverse, and inclusive.
- Support students in developing their geographical inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and field trips to further enrich students’ geographical learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
About You:
- A qualified Geography Teacher with experience teaching at secondary school level (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire students with your subject knowledge and enthusiasm.
- Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
