Kindred Nurseries has a rare opportunity for a motivating early years leader to inspire a small team. This is a full-time position requiring the successful candidate to flexibly work 40 hours Monday to Friday. This role is offering a competitive salary of £31,020.80 - £32,488 (£14.80-£15.50 per hour) and an extensive benefits package.

The key responsibilities for a Room Leader are to:

  • Lead the team of early years educators with a hands-on approach to deliver on Kindred's pedagogy
  • Model and monitor best practice in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Work closely with your team to create a shared vision of the room
  • Supervise, support, and allocate tasks and duties to your team
  • Support with new starter inductions, welcoming them to the team and wider Kindred family
  • Performance management when required through supervisions and one-to-one meetings
  • Deputise in the absence of Senior Management
  • Conduct nursery tours with confidence to sell available spaces
  • Be a key holder for the nursery

To be successful for this role you should:

  • Hold a full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher
  • Have experience working with children
  • Have good time management, meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Provide outstanding customer service
