Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit a Shot Blaster to join the expanding team of our client within Baston, Peterborough.

Duties include:

  • Operate shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal components before painting, coating, or further manufacturing processes.
  • Set up, maintain, and operate shot blasting machines.
  • Inspect components before and after blasting to ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform regular cleaning and minor maintenance of shot blasting equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.

Skills & experience:

  • Previous experience in shot blasting, sandblasting, or surface preparation in a heavy engineering environment is essential.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: £13.50ph

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
