We are an independent family-owned restaurant based in Sketty, Swansea that has been open for 7.5 years. There are lots of opportunities within our business to grow with us!
We are looking for an experienced individual to take on a Supervisory role (ideally also a skilled Barista) to assist one of the Co-owners of the business with the operational side of things. Applicants should be enthusiastic, positive and confident to work in a fast-paced environment. We provide delicious and creative food and speciality coffee and tea, as well as craft wine & beer, so a keen interest in all areas would be ideal.
What are we looking for?
- Someone to support the management team in the daily tasks of the business management including external buffets we provide across Swansea and surrounding areas. Bonuses are paid for increasing the sales of the catering side of the business.
- An outgoing, friendly team player who can maintain a professional manner at all times, able to boost staff morale, and not afraid of getting their hands dirty to lead by example.
- Ability to help the owners organise events such as baby-showers, anniversaries and birthday parties.
- Knowledge of social media marketing & great at taking creative shots & videos of food & drink.
- Thrives to deliver excellent customer service.
- A team player, motivated and reliable.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience in outside catering to help expand this growing side of the business across Swansea (bonuses paid!).
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in a front-of-house environment & have excellent barista skills.
- Comfortable with stock takes, ordering, knowledge in EHO / Level 2 certificate in food hygiene is desirable, knowledge of COSHH (guidance and training will be given).

Duties:
- Gaining new external catering customers via email and phone calling (training given).
- Train and mentor new staff members, providing guidance on proper food handling and service techniques.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for food and beverage supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of bartending or coffee preparation is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
