Position: Finance Executive
Location: West End
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Hours: Part Time, 24 hours per week, with Monday being a core day
Annual Salary: £32,000 FTE
Role Overview: As a Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and delivering accurate financial information while adhering to internal controls and processes. You will be working closely with the CEO and COO, giving you the chance to take ownership of your work. If you have experience in a small company setting and are familiar with US, UK, and Euro exchange rates, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile UK and US bank statements.
- Prepare cash reports and reconcile VAT returns for submission through the HMRC portal.
- Handle monthly payroll for both UK and US employees.
- Manage sales commission reconciliation and update statements for employees each month.
- Process expense claims for US and UK payroll.
- Check and submit PAYE through the HMRC portal.
- Ensure pension submissions are reconciled.
- Input new starters into the payroll system.
- Conduct monthly revenue reconciliation and analysis/journals.
- Execute bi-weekly payment runs in multiple currencies.
- Contribute to month-end accounts, including preparing account reconciliations, accruals, and pre-payment analysis.
- Produce reports and reconciliations for management review.
- Support year-end audits.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualification in accounting or finance, or currently studying for one.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Xero accounting software.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
