We are proud to be partnering with an organisation based in Warwick, who are looking to appoint a Payroll Clerk to join their supportive team. This will be a full-time permanent office based position, with a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience).
The ideal candidate will have full end-to-end payroll experience. Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Taking full responsibility for the end-to-end monthly payroll processing
- Processing new starters and leavers, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and updated accordingly
- Acting as a first point of contact for any payroll related queries
- Dealing with statutory deductions and producing P45s and P11Ds
- Posting to payroll journals and producing relevant reports
Experience required:
- Experience of end-to-end payroll preparation
- Minimum 3-years' experience in payroll
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Experience with manual payroll calculations
- Good understanding of statutory deductions to include pensions and auto enrolment
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
