About the Role

Responsible for the management and supervision of lift installations, lift services including Boroughwide lift maintenance contracts and project work undertaken by the contractors. The post holder will adhere to all management and maintenance procedures and ensure that the council’s design policy is maintained and monitor and create KPIs for lift Thorough Examination Inspections, Lift Service and call out documents in accordance with Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). Undertake condition surveys, specifications of planned maintenance works and planned replacement as required in order to support the planned preventative maintenance programme. Manage and document a quality control regime to ensure the lift services contractor delivers the planned preventative maintenance programme and response repairs in accordance with the requirements of the contract. Provide monthly KPIs, evidencing the management of the respective contracts in adherence to Haringey council and statutory requirements.

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification or job experience.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/Knowledge and experience of using IT.
  • Experience using a database to record and extract data; Keystone/NPS/service connect and W2 or similar.
  • To carry out inspections, servicing, monitoring and create KPIs and similar processes. This will include Thorough Examination Inspections (LOLER), Lift Service and call out documents.
  • Experience in repairs and/or modernisation specifying works and supervising contractors.
  • Expert Technical knowledge of lift installations, safety regimes and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of service contract management and administration.
  • Knowledge of all legislation, (LOLER), COPS, including service assessments and schedules.
  • Experience in producing condition surveys and reports.
  • Proven experience administering service agreements, contracts, schedules/specifications and invoices.
