A Fitter/Mechanic is needed to work for one of the UK's leading landscape/grounds maintenance companies.
Job Duties:
- To maintain our clients' grounds maintenance equipment.
The hours will be confirmed on interview; it's full-time hours - Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.
£34k to £35k salary depending on experience.
A driving license is essential.
The roles will be made permanent after around 13 weeks if all goes well or could also be made permanent from day one.
The role is working at our client's Cheam yard.
Candidates must have a driving license, and it would be desirable but NOT essential if the candidates have worked in a Grounds Maintenance setting previously, working on machinery such as:
- Two-stroke machines: Strimmers, Blowers and Hedge cutters
- Pedestrian machinery such as Walk behind lawn mowers, Powered weed brushes and Ride on lawn mowers
- Ride on equipment: John Deere OutFront mowers, Compact tractors and Tractor implements etc.
Good knowledge of fault finding and diagnostics is required. It is not essential that candidates have previous experience on gardening equipment, and we would also consider MOT Technicians and Vehicle Mechanics.
