Position Overview: This role involves punching and cutting metal parts according to technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of English and experience in metalworking. The ability to interpret technical drawings is essential for success in this role.
Personal Competencies:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings in English
- Previous experience in metalwork, particularly punching and cutting metal
- Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Punch holes in metal parts according to technical drawings
- Ensure all specifications are met and perform quality checks
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Assist in the setup and operation of production equipment
- Report any quality issues to senior team members
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Clean and maintain work area after each shift
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 15:15. Opportunities for overtime during busy periods. 1 x 20-minute paid break and 1 x 15-minute unpaid break.
Hourly Rate: Starting rate: £12.30 for standard hours and £13.30 for overtime.
