Salary: North £41,683 - £47,437 & South £43,402 - £49,393

This is a fantastic opportunity to take your assessment and curriculum knowledge from the classroom and support teachers in the delivery of their GCSE and A Level courses.
As part of the Subject Support team at AQA, you will be pivotal in directly supporting our customers to ensure that AQA is the go-to board for Geography. You'll be building relationships with a wide range of subject stakeholders across the UK and working closely with our Product Management team to provide valuable insights about how our specifications are delivered in the classroom and what matters most to teachers. You will be required to undertake extensive national travel to represent AQA, deliver to customers and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

What will you be doing?
- Responding to a range of email and telephone queries from schools and education centres providing a high quality and responsive customer service
- Supporting teachers to plan and deliver our Geography specifications
- Delivering key messages around Geography to teachers and other external stakeholders and being a positive voice for AQA - someone who really represents the brand well with both customers and associates
- Engaging with teachers both face to face and online using our support materials to support their continuous improvement
- Building strong relationships with key subject stakeholders bringing back valuable insights to help shape what we do now and in the future
- Acting as an internal consultant for Geography to provide insights, support and training for other colleagues
- Helping to plan, keep track of, and deliver on key priorities for geography - both for our customers and our products
- Working closely with teams like Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Training & Events to make sure everything's aligned and running smoothly
- Always looking for ways to make things better - whether that’s improving how we work or making life easier for our customers
What will you need to succeed?
- Recent experience of teaching GCSE and/or A level Geography
- Ability to travel extensively with overnight stays on occasion
- Confidence in communicating with and presenting to customers in a clear and empathetic way
- A good understanding of AQA's assessment products along with a good understanding of the wider educational landscape
- The ability to work well with others, building strong relationships along the way
- An understanding of teachers' needs and pressures and the ability to be the voice of the customer in internal discussions about the subject
- The ability to stay organised, plan ahead, and juggle priorities
