COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client has been in operation since the mid 1800s with over 500 employees. They service the agricultural, construction, fire & security and ground care industries specialising in service, maintenance and groundcare machinery. They are a family-owned business, who pride themselves on their supportive and caring culture.

PURPOSE OF A ELECTRICIAN

We are seeking a skilled Electrician ideally approved to join our clients teams covering the South West working on mainly EV and PV installations, reporting to the Installations manager. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys travel, meeting new people, and building long-term working relationships. Our client provides ample opportunities for personal development, including on-the-job training and certified courses. Ideally, candidates should be located within an hour's radius of Devizes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A ELECTRICIAN:

  • Undertaking commercial electrical installations, EV charger installations, PV and battery storage systems, LED lighting upgrades, completing NICEIC paperwork.
  • Collaborating with the Fire & Security Sales team to explore new business opportunities by combining our Electrical services with a wide range of Fire & Security solutions.
  • Site Supervisor opportunities when multiple operatives are on site and require supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • You will be a qualified electrician.
  • You will have relevant experience gained from previous work as an electrician.
  • Valid CSCS/ECS Gold card.
  • PASMA/IPAF training.
  • Recognised EV installation training.
  • Successful candidate must hold 18th Edition, BS7671.
  • Knowledge of fire & security would be an advantage.
  • Due to the nature of this role, a full, UK driving Licence is essential.
