Are you an experienced CNC Turner with experience in sub contract precision engineering, manufacturing or aerospace? Due to growth I have multiple vacancies for CNC Turners. We're offering a very competitive rate of pay with overtime readily available at premium rates.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Edit programs and set up and operate CNC Lathes using Mazatrol or Fanuc controls
- Working with a range of materials including exotic materials, nickel, super alloys, stainless steel, brass, duplex and aluminium
- Using a range of measuring equipment and have a working knowledge of inspection procedures in order to undertake self-inspection
- Working as part of the machine shop team and interface with the production support departments including production control, engineering, and maintenance
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Experience programming/editing and setting CNC Lathes
- Experience with FANUC or Mazatrol controls
- Experience working from engineering drawings
- Ideally apprentice trained in machining or a mechanical discipline
- Some experience within aerospace or sub contract precision engineering dealing with manufacturing components from exotic materials.
