We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver / Shunter to join our team in Brackley. This full-time day shift role, offering a competitive salary of £38,625, involves shunting Class 1/2 vehicles around the yard, transporting vehicles to MOT sites, delivering to customers, and assisting with general yard duties. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 license, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards maintaining an organized yard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Shunting: Safely maneuver Class 1/2 vehicles around the yard to designated areas, assisting with vehicle positioning for maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Transport to MOT Sites: Drive vehicles to and from MOT testing sites, ensuring timely transport and compliance with road safety regulations.
- Customer Deliveries: Deliver vehicles or parts to customers as required, maintaining professionalism and a high standard of customer service.
- Yard Duties: Assist with general yard organization and upkeep, including maintaining cleanliness, organizing equipment, and ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly.
