This role involves managing work packages to influence product design for support and developing cost-effective through-life support solutions for global customers. You'll work in a collaborative project environment, leveraging your expertise in supportability engineering to meet customer needs and business objectives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure supportability is integrated into product development.
  • Progress design-for-support objectives and exploit technologies for through-life support.
  • Work alongside teams such as Reliability, Human Factors, Training, and Technical Authors.
  • Apply supportability engineering techniques, including Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis.

  • Proven experience as an engineer with a track record in supportability engineering.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) standards such as Def Stan 00-600 or ASD S3000L.
  • Strong understanding of customer environments, structures, and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for engaging with internal and external partners.
  • A motivated team player with a calm and professional approach in dynamic environments.
