Manpower UK are supporting our Livingston based Environmental client for a Jetting Leader with HGV. Ideally, the successful candidate will hold their HPWJ ticket, Confined space and have a Class 1 licence (Class 2 considered) along with some supervisory experience. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with additional overtime available.
Overview
To safely operate our clients Recyclers and Jetters to remove and transport waste, in a safe and secure manner and in accordance with Environmental procedures. To maintain equipment and ensure it is in working order at all times. Liaise with Plant Manager and Service and Maintenance provider.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure issued/received Personal Protection Equipment is always maintained in a hygienic condition and used throughout the course of your related duties.
- To implement instructions given to you by your direct Line Manager.
- To fully comply with Company Quality Safety & Health & Safety policy and procedures related to your position.
- To assist HGV Drivers to set up all equipment to extract and remove waste.
- To ensure the correct use of service equipment is used appropriately throughout the course of the job. Ensure it is cleaned and securely replaced.
- Ensure that operating equipment is always maintained in working order and report defective equipment immediately.
- To carry out such further tasks and duties as may from time to time be delegated by your Line Manager.
- Be prepared to work overtime and potentially working away from Scottish base.
