Location: Plymtree Primary School, Cullompton, EX15 2JTS
Salary: £14.71/hour
3 Hours per week - Every Wednesday, 9.30am - 12.30am
South West Norse is a FM provider delivering support services to businesses across cleaning and facilities management disciplines across the region. We currently have a great opportunity for a Caretaker to join our established team at Plymtree Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.
Role
As a Caretaker, you will be working on-site under the direction of an area supervisor, ensuring the site and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards. You will be responsible for equipment and products used in carrying out your role, including inventory and safe storage. This position will also hold further site management duties, and you will be expected to support with general maintenance issues as well as some minor handyman duties.
Your Experience:
- If you have previously worked within a similar role then this would be advantageous; however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:
- Capable of delivering a high level of customer service
- Confident working both on your own and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with the client
- Comfortable engaging with members of the public
- Any knowledge of health & safety guidelines relevant to the role would be an advantage
