I am currently working with a well-established supported living provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead services for adults with learning disabilities and additional needs across Essex. Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Maintain registration with CQC and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Act as the Nominated Individual, liaising directly with CQC.
- Oversee quality assurance systems in line with the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Provide visible, strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary head office team including Service Managers, HR, Training, Finance, and Admin staff.
- Lead on recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management.
- Promote a positive culture that supports growth, learning, and high staff morale.
- Oversee person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
- Ensure safe, empowering, and dignified care that supports independence and choice.
- Take lead responsibility for safeguarding and medication governance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals, families, Local Authorities, and external professionals.
- Actively contribute to partnership working across health and social care networks.
What We're Looking For:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Registered Manager or senior leadership role in a supported living or similar adult care setting.
- In-depth understanding of the regulatory and legislative landscape (CQC, Care Act, MCA).
- Strong people leadership skills and financial management experience.
- A proactive, resilient, and compassionate leader committed to person-centred care.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
