As a Raw Material Planner, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time – enabling seamless production and minimising disruption. It’s a key role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where attention to detail and proactive planning are absolutely critical.

The role:

Generate material requirements plans to determine the necessary materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies needed for production.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials to ensure optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and manage supplier relationships.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, including streamlining procurement processes and reducing lead times.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an MRP Planner or in a similar supply planning role within FMCG industry.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving when dealing with daily material planner tasks and/or issues.
A can-do attitude with great problem solving ability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Material Planner will work within the \’EMEA Operations Material Supply\’ team based in Uxbridge, London to accurately

plan, process and maintain appropriate levels of raw material stock within Europe, Middle East and Africa.

As a Raw Material Planner, you will play a pivotal role, working with our suppliers to ensure the efficient procurement and

management of materials inbound to manufacturing locations to support our production and distribution requirements. Your

expertise will contribute to our goal of delivering high-quality beverages to our fans while optimising costs and minimising waste

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES 1. Material Planning

a. Generate material requirements plans to determine the necessary materials, ingredients, and

packaging supplies needed for production.

b. Work with Customer Services Team to fulfil sales order requirements for kit deliveries.

2. Inventory Management

a. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials to ensure optimal stock

levels.

b. Implement inventory control measures to minimise excess or obsolete inventory and prevent

stockouts.

3. Supplier Collaboration

a. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and manage

supplier relationships.

b. Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements when necessary.

4. Supplier Forecasting

a. Collaborate with the finished goods and NPD teams to gather intelligence and refine supplier

forecasts.

b. Use forecasting tools and historical data to improve the accuracy of demand projections.

5. Continuous Improvement

a. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, including streamlining

procurement processes and reducing lead times.

b. Implement best practices in MRP planning and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

6. Data Analysis and Reporting

a. Analyse data related to production, inventory, and supplier performance to make informed

decisions and develop reports for management review.

b. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, purchases, and production schedules

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

– Qualifications – Bachelor\’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field or have equivalent practical experience.

– APICs certification (CPIM or CSCP) – or similar supply chain certification(s), preferred but not essential

– Lean or Six Sigma – knowledge of principles for process improvement.

– Hands on Experience – o Proven experience as an MRP Planner or in a similar supply planning role within FMCG

industry. o Proficiency in MRP/ERP software systems; SAP, Oracle or similar platforms. o Able to operate demand forecasting tools, techniques & processes and able to work

within & adhere to an S&OP framework. o Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions. o Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective supplier & plant

collaboration. o Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving when dealing with daily

material planner tasks and/or issues. o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

due to complexity of Monster portfolio, extensive product range (including NPD/Delists) & third-party Plant set-ups.
