Location: London (with travel across high-end residential sites)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE + Benefits

I\’m working with a respected client in the smart home and AV integration space, who is looking for an experienced AV Service Engineer with a strong background in residential systems and hands-on experience with Control4, Lutron, and other home automation technologies.

The Role

As an AV Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting a wide range of residential AV and smart home systems. You\’ll be working in occupied homes, so professionalism and attention to detail are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve faults across home automation and AV systems
Provide ongoing support for existing installations
Perform scheduled maintenance visits and system health checks
Work with Control4, Lutron, multi-room AV, lighting control, and IP networks
Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality service
Maintain accurate service records and documentationRequirements:

Minimum 3 years\’ experience in residential AV service and/or installation
Strong technical knowledge of Control4, Lutron, and related technologies
Confident with network setup and fault-finding (IP, switches, routers)
Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
Full UK driving licence
London-based or commutable to central London
