I am currently working on a contract role with a local authority based in Essex.
They are looking for someone to join the team ASAP and I’ve listed a few details below:
- 6 months.
- 280 – 320 per day based on experience.
- Hybrid working – 2 days on site.
Day-to-day:
- To ensure that the Housing Service maximises the income that it receives through an effective and efficient income management service.
- To ensure that prompt and appropriate action is taken to maximise the collection of rents and arrears for all Housing income streams and that all associated performance targets are met.
- To ensure that the Housing income collection process is robust and able to respond to legislative change as and when necessary by working with other key services within the authority.
- Support the Strategic Director, Housing, Environment and Communities in reviewing the team structure and processes to maximise the collection of current and former debt, and to ensure there is full regulatory compliance, including protecting vulnerable residents.
