About the Role
Our client is seeking Residential Childcare Practitioners to join their dedicated team in children's residential homes in Sinfin, Derby. You will play a crucial role in supporting and caring for children and young people, helping them develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. You will work alongside a Senior Co-Worker on a structured rota, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in children's residential care or transferable skills
- Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential/Children's Workforce OR Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Residential) or working towards this qualification
- A full UK driving licence (essential) you'll need to transport young people to appointments, school, social activities etc
- Compassion, resilience, and the ability to build strong relationships with young people
Shift Pattern
Long shifts plus sleep ins. Rolling 3-week rota, averaging 10 shifts per month.
