Reports To: Bar Manager / Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking friendly, energetic, and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team at The County ground in Swindon. As a Bar Staff member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring that guests have a positive experience. Key Responsibilities:

Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.

*

Ensure that the bar is stocked with necessary supplies and inventory is kept up to date.

*

Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.

*

Monitor customers’ alcohol consumption and promote responsible drinking.

*

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.

*

Assist with setting up and closing down the bar, including preparing the space for the next shift.

*

Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and build positive relationships.

*

Work collaboratively with fellow bar staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation.

*

Adhere to health and safety standards and comply with all legal requirements related to alcohol service.

Key Requirements:

*

Previous experience working in a bar or similar hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

*

Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail preparation is a plus.

*

A friendly and approachable demeanour.

*

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

*

Must be at least 18 years old.
